Situated on a hillside in a tranquil location, Casa Spadaro is surrounded by olive groves and set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside near the small village of Gragnano only 40 minutes from Pisa.

The property is ideal for a large group of guests or for families of up to six people.

All the apartments have an area of private garden equipped with table and chairs so ideal for al fresco dining.

And guests can also take advantage of the restaurant on the estate, which is found in the wonderfully atmospheric restored cellars of the main building and offers lovingly prepared local specialities made from local ingredients as well as tasting sessions of some of the oldest and most traditional local dishes and delicacies.

For water lovers Casa Spadaro boasts a little lake for those interested in fishing and a private pool for those more interested in relaxing.

Nearby are tennis court facilities, horse stables offering lessons and excursions and there is the possibility to hire mountain bikes.

For those wanting to explore a little further afield Tuscany's delights need little explanation here. But close at hand is Pisa and Florence and Siena are both simple day trip possibilities, as are the many local wine distilleries and museums which have helped make this region of Italy so popular.
